Meet the owners of Sadhana Dell 'Arte
Mario and Esme Lobo along with their son, Chirag are the brains behind starting the Trust, Sadhana Dell ‘Arte (SDA) in late 2017.
The house in which SDA is located, belonged to Mario’s Grandfather, João Francisco Viegas, who was also his Godfather.
Mario and Esme who were based in Bombay decided to come down and restore their ancestral house and with their son, Chirag’s influence, who is an artist doing his Masters in Acting at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, UK, it was decided to dedicate the entire property to Art & Culture.
Chirag’s vision as an artist was to set up the property into a beautiful art space to keep his Great-Grandfather’s name alive, which would promote local artists and give opportunities to young talent and also keep various Cultures in the country alive.
This trust was formed with the sole intention of keeping João Francisco’s name alive locally as well as globally.
